We listed our estate lot home with Greg in spring 2016. We had multiple showings and a deal that fell through as the purchaser was unable to secure a mortgage. We took our home off the market and then relisted with Greg in January 2017. The home sold in May 2017. What we like about Greg is he stuck to our plan and we sold for an agreeable price. He did not pressure us to lower our price and even though it took a little longer we are happy.

Greg is respectful, conscientious, prompt and focused. He answers calls and texts promptly. He helped us so much with answers to legal questions and even gave us leads on legal services, carpet cleaners, etc. We appreciated this very much as it is nice to enlist the services of companies that are recommended.

I have had 10 different real estate transactions with Greg McDannold over as many years. HE IS SIMPLY THE BEST! Before Greg McDannold, I acted as my own agent or used other Edmonton Agents and realize in retrospect what a mistake. I left a lot of money on the table when I did my own negotiations. Most people dont realize that Greg McDannold has an amazing business background working with Triple Five, Red Cross and The Edmonton Oilers. He cut his teeth with some of the best business teachers in the city and learned how to negotiate. This skill is something few real estate agents or ordinary folks possess and when I started using Greg is what saved me tens of thousands of dollars if not more over the years. When I used other agents in the city I found that they did not have the same level of negotiation skills and lacked in many other areas that were important to me. Negotiation skills are the most important skills in my opinion when you are either the buyer and the seller, I have used Greg McDannold for both and I have been in awe of his skills in this area.

Lets talk about CHARACTER AND INTEGRITY. In an industry that is still full of a lot of questionable practices and agents (the word "sleaze" comes to mind) Greg McDannold's character and integrity shine through. He is not just trying for the fast sale or buy as I have experiened first hand and heard about from many other agents. Greg told me that he is trying to build a lifetime relationship with all of his clients and you believe him when he says it. He had been successful getting me to be a repeat customer because of his honest, no-nonsense, cut through the c**p type of approach. If he thinks something isn't right for me he tells me up front and does a good job of telling me why. I have wanted to pull the trigger many times prematurely and after a discussion with Greg have backed off. I hate to admit it but I have always been wrong and Greg has always been right! The guys knows what he is doing and is honest to the core. This is not a fast sale kind of guy.

Greg McDannold is highly responsive and prides himself on this factor. If you call him, he is on it no matter the hour of day or night. The work ethic he gained growing up and in his past business education is pretty amazing. I'm asking you the reader straight up... where else and in what other industry do you find this level of service?

Greg McDannold is incredibly tenacious and patient. He is like a dog on a bone when he goes after something on behalf of his client. This is the guy you want in your corner when you are dealing with your biggest or amongst your biggest asset.

Greg McDannold cares about people and has an uncommon ability to connect with others. When you work with him he is professional and yet the process is also relaxing and a lot of fun. I've watched him relate to a wide variety of different people from all sorts of backgrounds, races etc. and I marvel at how people take a liking to him almost immediately. He is also one of the funniest people I have ever met.

Greg has been in the business long enough to thoroughly know what he is doing and yet not long enough to be jaded, arrogant or burned out. This is exactly the type of agent you should want working for you. Some of the top end agents in the city are so busy with their own over inflated egos that they cant possibly provide the level and quality of service with integrity.

Finally, Greg Mcdannold's knowledge base is extensive. If you are a seller he knows exactly what it is that you need to do to get your property sold. If you are a buyer Greg knows what is important to consider and communicates that to you clearly and forthrightly. He could have been an excellent interior designer so this is a value added gift he brings to those who want a few tips or some education in the course of the real estate deal.

Altogether, uncommonly excellent negotation skills, integrity plus, responsiveness, tenacity, great communicator, patience, great people skills, great working experience, lots of knowledge and energy -- all of these are my way of describing Greg McDannold. I not only dont hesitate in recommending him I suggest that you do yourself a favor and at least call Greg so you can decide for yourself. I dont think you will be disappointed. Cheers.

Greg has been our realtor for many years. And for good reason. His relentless negotiating skills and honest feedback get results every single time. In the last sale of our condo, he was certainly put through the test. He did everything in his power to prevent the sale from falling through, we were so amazed.
