Transportation

Stride Hill enables home buyers to travel by a variety of modes of transportation. Stride Hill is a fairly pleasant part of Burnaby for travelling by public transit thanks to 2 rapid transit stations (Edmonds Station @ Platform 1 and Edmonds Station @ Platform 2) with access to the Expo Line, and a few nearby bus lines. It is also easy for pedestrians to navigate this part of Burnaby; running common errands is convenient. Stride Hill is reasonably amenable to cycling since there are a fair number of bike lanes.

Services

Some, but not all, house buyers in this part of the city will live within walking distance of the nearest grocery store. On the other hand, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner. As far as education is concerned, parents and their children will value the proximity to daycares and primary schools, which are within walking distance from all houses for sale in Stride Hill. In contrast, there are no high schools in this neighbourhood.

Character

Stride Hill is a very good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm atmosphere. This part of the city is very quiet overall, as the streets are generally very tranquil. Finally, the majority of locations in the neighbourhood have reasonably good access to green spaces, like Byrne Creek Ravine Park and Taylor Park, since there are a few of them nearby for residents to discover.
