Silverhill is a neighbourhood within Mission, British Columbia, which is located in the Abbotsford - Mission metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent medium of transportation in Silverhill. Parking is generally easy. Cycling is very hard in this neighbourhood because the bicycling infrastructure is quite poor, and there are a fair number of slopes to challenge cyclists. Walking is also not very convenient for property owners in Silverhill since almost no common errands can be run without having to resort to a vehicle.

Services

House buyers in this area almost always need a vehicle to access the closest supermarket. As far as education is concerned, this neighbourhood does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Furthermore, it can be very hard to get to daycares as a pedestrian.

Character

Silverhill is an excellent neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere. Silverhill is very quiet overall, as the streets are very tranquil. It is rather difficult to reach parks from the majority of locations in the neighbourhood since they aren't well-distributed. Still, there are a few green spaces close by for residents to enjoy.

Housing

About three quarters of the population of this neighbourhood own their home while renters make up the remainder. The predominant housing types in this area are single detached homes and row houses.
