Getting around by car is very convenient in this neighbourhood. It is a rather short car ride to the closest highway from anywhere in this part of St. John's, and it is very convenient to come across a place to park. In contrast, the public transit service in South Side Hills is not very frequent. Commuting by bicycle is very difficult in this neighbourhood as the bicycling network is not very comprehensive, and there are a good number of elevation changes. It is also inconvenient for people walking to navigate South Side Hills because few common errands can be run on foot.
