The community of Long Lake is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a great medium of transportation in Long Lake. It is very convenient to access a place to park. This part of Halifax is not very bike-friendly since the terrain is not particularly flat, and the cycling network is quite bad. This community is also not very conducive to those who travel by foot because running daily errands is nearly impossible.
