The neighbourhood of North Transfer Area is part of the city of Brant, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Brantford metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of Brant is especially car friendly. It is very easy to park. This part of the city is not very amenable to bicycling as the bicycling network is rather poor, and the topography is not particularly flat. A majority of the homes for sale in this area are located in places that are also not very conducive to walking since meeting daily needs is at times difficult on foot.

Services

Primary schools are convenient to reach on foot from anywhere in this neighbourhood. In contrast, this area does not contain any high schools. With regards to food, in all but a very small number of cases, a vehicle is needed to do groceries. Nonetheless, pharmacies are generally easy to reach on foot and provide some basic food items. A limited variety of restaurants can be found in North Transfer Area as well.

Character

North Transfer Area offers a slower-paced atmosphere and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors. This part of Brant is quiet, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - although that is not the case near Highway 403 or the railway line. Finally, there are a few parks close by for residents to unwind in, making it easy to access them.
