The neighbourhood of Riverside is part of the city of Cambridge, Ontario, which is situated in the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent means of transportation in this part of the city. Parking is quite easy, and many real estate listings are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 401. In contrast, public transit users may have limited choices in this area due to the infrequent service. Thankfully, property owners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most residences. Walking in Riverside is not very common, despite the fact that many daily needs can be met on foot. On the other hand, Riverside is quite appropriate for biking.

Services

In this part of the city, parents and their children will typically be able to get to daycares and primary schools by walking. However, Riverside does not contain any high schools. In terms of food, a fraction of residents in this area may have the option to purchase groceries by walking, while others will have to use another means of transportation.
