University

The neighbourhood of University is part of the city of Windsor, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Windsor metropolitan area.

Transportation

Active people will welcome the reasonably cycling-friendly nature of University. In particular, the cycling network is fairly good, and there are a limited number of hills for cyclists to brave. It is also easy for pedestrians to get around in University; many common errands can be run on foot. Public transit users may have few choices in University by reason of the service's low frequency. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally just around the corner. In contrast, the best method of transportation in this area is usually driving. It is a reasonably short drive to the nearest highway from any location in University, and it is easy to park.

Services

Parents and their children will welcome that no matter where their home is located in University, both primary and secondary schools are nearby. In addition to public schools, there are private elementary and high schools. On the other hand, it can be difficult to access daycares on foot. With respect to food, the closest supermarket in this part of Windsor is typically only a short walk away. Additionally, this part of the city is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat, for instance along Wyandotte Street, and there are also a few cafes in University.

The character of University is exemplified by its calm ambience.
