Transportation

Cars are a very good means of transportation in this part of the city. Accessing a parking spot is quite easy. In contrast, the public transit network in Waterloo Village is rather poor. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. There are relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of this part of Kingston, despite the fact that running daily errands is easy on foot. Waterloo Village is also not particularly amenable to cycling as there are few bike lanes, and there are a good number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave.

Services

Property owners in this area will appreciate that a grocery store is always only a rather short walk away. Additionally, it is convenient to reach the closest cafe on foot, and a small number of restaurants are available in this area as well. With respect to education, it is a very short walk to access daycares and primary schools from most properties for sale in this part of Kingston. On the other hand, there are no high schools in this part of the city. At the primary level, both public and private schools can be found.

Waterloo Village offers a slower-paced ambience and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors. This area is quiet overall, as the streets tend to be quite tranquil. Finally, accessing public green spaces from most locations within the neighbourhood, like Trillium Ridge Park, is easy since there are a few of them nearby for residents to discover.
