Located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, North Richvale is a neighbourhood within Richmond Hill, Ontario.

Transportation

Biking is convenient in North Richvale. It is also easy for pedestrians to move around in this part of the town; many daily errands can be run on foot. Residents using public transit may experience limited choices in this area as a result of the low service level. Nevertheless, rapid transit stations, including Yonge / 16th-Carrville, Yonge / Major MacKenzie and Yonge / Weldrick on the Viva Blue, are not very far-removed from the bulk of properties in the neighbourhood. Property owners are served by about 10 bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. In contrast, getting around by car is convenient in North Richvale. It is convenient to come across a place to park.

Services

It is a short walk to access daycares and schools from most homes for sale in North Richvale. In addition to public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools. With respect to food, some, but not all, house buyers in North Richvale will reside within walking distance of the closest grocery store. A limited selection of restaurants and coffee shops is available as well.

Character

North Richvale is a very good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced ambience. This area is very quiet overall, as the streets are usually very tranquil. Finally, it is easy to access green spaces from a lot of locations in the neighbourhood since there are about 10 of them close by for residents to check out.

Housing

About 80% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home while renters make up the remainder. In this part of the town, about half of dwellings are single detached homes, but large apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. About one third of properties in this area were built between 1980 and 1990, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1990s. This part of Richmond Hill has a good selection of housing sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.
