Transportation

No matter the medium of transportation, it is straightforward to move around in Humberwood. Thanks to a few nearby bus lines, the public transit network in this part of Toronto is practical. It is at times difficult for pedestrians to navigate Humberwood because few daily needs can be met without the use of a car. The bike is a fairly good method of transportation in Humberwood. Cars are also an excellent transportation option in this part of Toronto. The majority of homes for sale are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 427, and it is convenient to park.

Services

It is a rather short walk to get to primary schools and daycares from any location in this part of Toronto. In contrast, there are no high schools in this area. Concerning eating, some, but not all, property owners in Humberwood will live within walking distance of the nearest supermarket. A limited number of restaurants and cafes can be found as well.

Character

A highlight of Humberwood is its excellent selection of green spaces. To be more precise, it is very easy to get to parks from the majority of locations within the neighbourhood since there are approximately 10 of them nearby for residents to relax in. However, the tree canopy coverage for numerous streets is quite bad. This part of the city remains relatively quiet, as there are few people out and about on the streets, although there can be more noise for those who are around Highway 427.
