The preferred approach to navigate Pointe Louise is usually driving. It is very easy to park. On the other hand, commuting by public transit is very difficult in Pointe Louise. Most homes for sale in this part of Montréal are located in areas that are not very conducive to those who travel by foot since common amenities such as post offices or hardware stores can be a very long walk away. In contrast, bicycling is very easy in Pointe Louise.

There are no high schools and no primary schools in Pointe Louise. Moreover, there are only a very small number of daycares and thus they can be a very long walk away. Regarding eating, property owners in this neighbourhood almost always have to use a car to travel to the nearest supermarket.

Pointe Louise is a wonderful neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced ambience. Most locations within the neighbourhood have good access to green spaces, including Parc-Nature du Cap-Saint-Jacques, since there are a few of them close by for residents to enjoy. This neighbourhood is especially quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
