Transportation

Saint-Louis is an excellent neighbourhood for car-free transportation options. Physically active people will value the very walk-friendly nature of Saint-Louis; many day-to-day needs are very convenient to carry out on foot, and numerous businesses are especially nearby. A very large number of residents in the area use their bicycle as bike-share stations are hardly ever more than a few blocks away, and there are many bike lanes. With Sherbrooke Station on the Ligne 2 - Orange, and approximately 10 nearby bus lines, getting around by public transit is very convenient in this part of Montréal. In contrast, Saint-Louis is not very car friendly. That being said, nearby highways are reasonably easy to drive to from anywhere in this part of Montréal.
