Transportation

The public transit system in Ville-Marie is great due to a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations on the Ligne 2 - Orange, Ligne 4 - Jaune, Ligne 1 - Verte and Gare Centrale - Brossard, and over 50 nearby bus lines. This borough will also attract physically active house buyers as it is very well-suited for those who travel by foot; all daily needs can be met by walking, and there are also countless businesses nearby. This area is a fairly convenient part of Montréal for bike riders. More precisely, bike-share stations are hardly ever more than a few blocks away, the cycling network is quite well-developed, and the topography is generally flat.

It is especially convenient to access both a general and a specialty grocery store by walking from any home in Ville-Marie.
