Transportation

Chicoutimi is an extraordinarily good part of Saguenay for moving around by car. It is very convenient to park, and most real estate listings are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Autoroute 70. In contrast, Chicoutimi is not an especially pleasant part of Saguenay for moving around by public transit. Thankfully, the borough is connected by over 50 bus lines, and bus stops are usually nearby. It is at times difficult for pedestrians to get around in this area because few daily errands can be run on foot. On the other hand, this part of the city is quite bicycling-friendly.
