Transportation

Active property owners will be pleased with the quite walk-friendly character of Cityview; many common errands can be run on foot. On the other hand, it is occasionally difficult to travel by bicycle in Cityview as the bicycling infrastructure is not especially comprehensive. Thankfully, there are a limited number of hills for cyclists to brave. The public transit network in this neighbourhood is not very practical. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. However, cars are a very good transportation option in Cityview. The majority of homes for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway, and it is easy to access a parking spot.

Services

It is a very short walk to get to schools and daycares from anywhere in this neighbourhood. As far as eating is concerned, shopping for one's groceries usually demands the use of a vehicle in Cityview. Nevertheless, pharmacies are typically especially easy to access on foot and sell some basic food items. Cityview is a good place in which to go out to eat or go to a cafe. A decent selection of clothing stores is also available within a rather short walking distance.

Character

Cityview is a reasonably good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm environment. There are a few public green spaces nearby for residents to explore, like North East Park, and they are especially well-spread out, making them very easy to get to. This neighbourhood is also reasonably good for those who need quiet surroundings, as the streets tend to be peaceful.

Housing

In Cityview, roughly half of dwellings are small apartment buildings, while large apartment buildings and single detached homes are also present in the housing stock. Most of the housing growth in this neighbourhood happened between 1960 and 1980. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of one bedroom and two bedroom homes.
