Part of the Greater Regina metropolitan area, Normanview is a neighbourhood within Regina, Saskatchewan.

Transportation

Moving around by car is easy in Normanview. It is convenient to come across a parking spot. However, this area is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are typically nearby. Normanview is reasonably bike-friendly because cyclists do not face significant elevation changes, and the cycling infrastructure is well-developed. Walking is not particularly practical for property owners in Normanview since running common errands is at times challenging on foot.

Services

It is a short walk to access daycares and primary schools from any location in Normanview. On the other hand, Normanview does not have any high schools. With regards to food, the nearest grocery store in this neighbourhood is generally only a reasonably short walk away. A limited variety of restaurants is available in Normanview as well.

Character

Normanview offers a calm atmosphere and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors. Getting to public green spaces in the neighbourhood, such as Ken Jenkins Park, is very easy since there are a few of them close by for residents to discover. This part of Regina is also very good for those who like a quiet atmosphere, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
