Transportation

Cars are a great transportation option in this part of the city. It is especially convenient to find a parking spot. Most houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are not very suitable for walking because running daily errands is impractical on foot. The bicycle is a rather limited method of transportation in this part of Saint John as the cycling infrastructure is quite poor, and there are a fair number of slopes to challenge cyclists.

Services

There are only a very small number of primary schools in Latimer Lake and thus they can be a very long walk away. Additionally, this area does not have any high schools. Regarding food, home buyers in Latimer Lake almost always have to turn to a car to shop for groceries.

Character

Latimer Lake is a wonderful neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed atmosphere. Latimer Lake is excellent for those who like quiet surroundings, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue closer to the airport (Saint John Airport). Green spaces aren't well-situated, which makes it rather challenging to get to them. Despite that, residents will be able to access parks in nearby neighbourhoods.
