Part of the Greater Montreal metropolitan area, Sector X is a neighbourhood within Brossard, Quebec.

Transportation

Getting around by car is especially convenient in sector X. Accessing a place to park is quite easy, and most real estate listings are a very short drive from the nearest highway, such as Autoroute de l'Acier. In contrast, public transit riders may find few choices in sector X as a result of the service's low frequency. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. Despite the fact that a few bike-friendly areas can be found, and bicycle riders do not encounter serious slopes, bicycling is almost impossible in sector X as the bicycling network is rather poor. Sector X is not very suitable for walking since most daily needs are occasionally challenging to carry out without having to use a vehicle.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this neighbourhood. Furthermore, there are only a very small number of daycares and accordingly they can be a very long walk away. With regards to food, a fraction of house buyers in sector X may be able to travel to the nearest supermarket on foot, while others will need a vehicle.

Sector X is a neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a chill ambience. Noise can sometimes be an issue in sector X, since traffic can occasionally be loud during rush hour. This part of the city features almost no greenery; however residents will be able to access parks in nearby areas outside of the neighbourhood.

Roughly 60% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners while the rest are rented. In this part of the city, most buildings are small apartment buildings, but large apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. Most housing in this area was built following the year 2000, during its largest construction boom. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of one bedroom and two bedroom homes.
