Sector Y is a neighbourhood within Brossard, Quebec, which is located in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent transportation option in this part of the city. It is very easy to park, and most real estate listings are a very short drive from the nearest highway, such as Autoroute de l'Acier. However, this neighbourhood is not particularly transit friendly. Nevertheless, property owners are served by Brossard on the Gare Centrale - Brossard. There are approximately 10 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is typically close by. Many of the houses for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are not very suitable for walking as running common errands is sometimes difficult. Even though bike riders do not face significant elevation changes, sector Y is not very cycling-friendly since sector Y has a fairly poor bicycling infrastructure.

Services

Sector Y does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Additionally, it can be challenging to reach daycares as a pedestrian. As far as eating is concerned, a grocery store is typically accessible within an extended walk from any home in sector Y.

Character

Sector Y is a neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a chill ambience. Noise can sometimes be an issue in sector Y, since during busier hours of the day, traffic can occasionally be bothersome. This part of the city features almost no greenery - but residents will enjoy the fact that there are green spaces in nearby areas outside of the neighbourhood.
